Visually Challenged? The Pottsboro Library can help make the world clearer
Putting the world in the right perspective opens the mind to new ideas and concepts. Vision impairment issues make it more difficult to read or see and learn, limiting the mind from its full potential.
Library is taking steps to help those with trouble seeing continue to be able to read and see. A magnifier is available at the library for anyone to use. This device magnifies words and images up to twenty times their original size, as well as locks in place on a table so that the user can operate with ease. A large plate under the magnifier fits most book sizes so that the entire page is magnified at once. This device also features a focus dial to diminish fuzziness and an led light for optimum vision quality.
